Homeostasis is the ability to maintain equilibrium and in order to do that both the outside of the cell membrane and the inside must be equal. The cell membrane controls what leaves and enters the cell so it doesnt allow anything in or out that would make it unequal.

How does homeostasis relates to cell?

A cell must maintain homeostasis in order to function properly. Cells use osmosis, diffusion, passive transport, and active transport in order to maintain homeostasis. If a cell cannot maintain homeostasis, it will die.
