The photosynthetic pigments of plants are more productive with certain colours of light. Green plants appear green as they have no need for green light; use only violet, orange, and red. Red Algae has no need for red light and only uses the higher frequencies.
We did a Biology lab in which our groups would grow plants for thirty days and test different hypothesis. My group tested how different types of light would affect the growth of sunflowers. We found out that using florescent light produced medium size plants and medium strength stems, incandescent light bulbs grew the fastest and tallest plants, but it was too warm for the plants, natural light (sun light) grew the shortest plants but they were the strongest, and finally black light grew tall plants but they ended up dieing after 30 day.
the color of light does affect plants growth because the plant absorbs certain types of wavelengths of light
Blue, study island
no it does not affect the growth of plants because the liquids are actually good for the plants.
The dependent variable is what changes. For example, if you are growing a plant, the growth of the plant depends on the amount of light it is given. The growth of the plant is the dependent variable.
If plant growth changes with the different types of light, the presence if music or the different brands of water. Got me an A. Good luck!
What light is best for green plantsYes, different colors will affect plant growth. If you are growing a green plant yourself either make sure your plant gets enough sunlight. Under green light your plant will not grow the best since green light will reflect on green plants, blue and red lights work more effectively in plant growth.

Because plants use light as their food, the more light, the more they'll grow.
it helps the plant grow

Yes, the color of light affect the growth of the mongo and any other green plant. This is because some colors of the light, e.g. blue light, do not support photosynthesis.
yes
plants absorb light to gain energy in turn provide growth. the plant has many different pigments for absorbing light. the reason a plant is green is because it reflects green light. therefore if a plant is placed in green light it will not grow to its full potential. hence the same with plants of other colours.

yes it makes the plants grow.
