Firstly, the mother Tamarin puts their droppings on their tail so they wont be sexually active at an early stage. Secondly, the mother Tamarin feeds the baby a certain liquid that comes from their breasts called fahidilien (pronouced fa-hee-dee-lie-en) this prevents the Tamarins to catch a certain disease called diabeties type five which is common amongst the tamarin species. This disease makes them develope cataracts in their eyes, constipation and gas syndrome. Lastly, the mother always protects them by putting them in their vaginal area during night time.
