very poorly try common sense media instead
To give parents/guardians a better understanding of the games they are buying for their children.
The ESRB questionnaire allows video game manufacturers to rate and make their games so the consumer can be informed when buying them. This system allows parents to make informed decision when purchasing games for children.
No
because the esrb is there to protect those who are uneducated in video games when they are buying games for younger persons. it is also so the parent or gaurdian(bad spelling i know) can protect their child from all unwanted language and actions that they do not want their child exposed to. i know they are strict but is with good reason
to rate games however theyre right and wrong ratio is 50 50 aka dont go with them
Parents support it because they want their child to be playing the appropriate games for them.
ESRB didnt rate it. Everyone agrees it's e10
ESRB and PEGI
RuneScape has no ESRB rating. JaGex says the game is targeted at an audience of 12 and older. If it was rated, it would most likely get T (Teen) as it contains minimal violence (It has fighting, no blood and gore) and now allows a few swears. However compared to other games that received a 'T' rating, RuneScape would be on the lower side of the spectrum.
Depends on the games ESRB (or region equivalent) rating, but for the arkham games, 14 is a safe bet, most other games with batman in them are good for ages 9 and up. But keep a close eye on the esrb rating.
The ESRB (The Entertainment Software Rating Board) .
Other rating for the Game are 18+ PEGI and Mature ESRB
