Pandas are a favorite of people all over the world, mostly due to their babyish cuteness, and docile depiction of the peaceful bear reclining and eating bamboo. These large bears are hardly ever shown to be hunting, which adds to the innocent image. Though it is true that Pandas often assume a docile nature, they have also been known to attack humans. This is presumably out of frustration rather than any predatory hunting behavior. Research has shown that most cases of Panda violence have been linked to a maternal protection instinct. In cases where their offspring may be under treat, the panda can react very violently.
Giant pandas are afraid just like everyother animal that comes across humans. They are afraid and they try and hide from people. I think if you get too close and you mess with their babies that they may attact you like everyother animal when you get too close to their family.
