As the gurdwara has a free meal service, you can take guests there to show them your religon.
There is a library in the Gurdwara because, you see the young Sikh children have to learn about their religion, they have to learn how to talk in their language, how to read and how to write in their language-they learn all this in the gurdwara! That's why books are needed!
A Gurudwara is the place where Sikhs meet jointly for congregational worship whose purpose is to be a place to learn spiritual wisdom, hold religious ceremonies and a community centre that offers food and companionship to those who need it. It is also a place that children learn Sikh faith, ethics, traditions, customs and texts. It is because of all the activities done by the congregation that Sikhs feel part of the community. Also in the Gurudwara, Sikh rules are enforced, such as equality. Hence everybody regardless of other factors will feel part of the community.
Yes it is hard build a community independently but if you are in a group it probably would be easy if peopel listen to what you say and help you:)

A Langar Hall is an open hall positioned with all Sikh Gurdwara's where Langar (free vegetarian food) is served. The Sikhs have to sit on the carpeted floor in straight lines which is called "pentaa" as a sign that everyone is equal before God and that no one has a higher or lower status in Waheguru's domain.
The 5k's are important to Sikhs as when they wear them they can be easily identified as Sikhs in a crowd. It also shows the uniqueness of the religion and how it is proud to stand out from the rest.
