The media sees it as a story but not as big a story as when celebrities gain weight. When actors look "scary skinny" sure they're on the covers of magazines but when a celebrity gains weight like Jessica Simpson did they're on CNN getting trashed. The media sees gaining weight as a far worse thing than a little old thing like anorexia. Thin is in. Everybody knows that.
Bulimic
Yes. It has the highest.
Anarexia gets rid of obesity, but anarexia is much less healthy than obesity. People who are anarexic don't get enough nutrients, and nutrients are what enable use to do everything we do. Thinking, moving, growing, healing, and everything our mind and body does, requires nutrients in order to do it. Food is our fuel, and without it we have no energy or strength and we can't think straight. There are better ways to get rid of bodyfat than by malnutrition.
i would say depression....its sorta the same thing as anarexia so umm in society I've seen people have signs saying please im starving and its horrible. people have hardly any jobs and it causes depression and people to starve by not having money to buy a single cracker with.
It's not an eating disorder 'caused by', but rather 'classified by' and it is known as Bulimia Nervosa. Google it.
bulimia is a eating disorder.ok bulimia is a eating disorder.ok
Usually bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa stem from a long build up of "not good enough" feelings. They're both linked to depression and self-hate, so in a sense, yes. Others may have a great influence on whether or not someone may turn to anorexia and bulimia for release. Some people just blame the media for anorexia in teenagers these days, but I believe with the struggles of a teenager in itself, the media is sort of just a trigger.
there are 2 types of bulimia, they are Anorexia Nervosa & Bulimia Eating Disorder.
