put seven mentos into the coke, stirr/shake for 10 seconds then whatch it explode!
uh no dont do that, just put on one or two with lid open its epic!
The procedure is to put a mentos in the soda than shake it but don't forget to point it to a window or else it won't work, you have to do it really close to the window
diet cola
because it has no sugar
It's simple. Just take a 2-liter of coke (Diet Coke works better) and stick as many mentos in it as you want. (one will still work)
Diet Coke's aspartame contributes to the reaction, but any carbonated liquid will produce some effect.
Yes. For some reason Diet Coke appears to work particularly well, though the difference isn't overwhelmingly huge (maybe a factor of two; certainly not a factor of ten). The difference is probably more due to the "diet" part (less sugar = less dense) than the "Coke" part.
Diet coke reacts with mentos because the chemicals in the mentos and cola react to cause the soda's carbon dioxide to quickly turn into a gas an escape from solution. Although the exact nature of the reaction is unknown, it seems to relate to things such as the coating on the mentos and the artificial sweetener in the cola. peanuts In mentos there is sodium and diet coke has carbon dioxide and they are both from the periodic tables and they don't work together.
It might work. The dissolved CO2 tends to be released much more readily from Diet Coke, when it gets warmer, or is shaken, or when a catalyst such as a Mentos is added. You may not get a fast enough rate of release from regular coke.
I think that Coke and Mentos will do the trick. It has to be REGULAR COKE!The Mint Mentos will work the best.
no
put an acid on it and i suggest you to make an experiment with an acid if it will not work by itself
I tried it with pineapple fanta in a cup, but it didn't work, but I have found out that it only works with diet coke. It might work in a cup.
because the ingridient that works in coke is in root beer and it reacts to the mentos o ya!
