resultant force is the overall size of force acting on the object. the acceleration increases the amount of newton so the resultant becomes increased. the force realating to the accelaration of the boat is the amount of increasiment in the newtons. hope this helps everyone please appreciate this time as i have sprent an hour for this answer

Acceleration of a boat that has a net force of a 1000 newtons and a mass of 300000 grams?

The boat's acceleration is 3.33 meters per second squared.

Why a boat floats using the words mass and volume?

The mass of the boat multiplied by the acceleration due to gravity is less than the mass of the water displaced by the boat multiplied by the force of gravity. Archimedes' principle applies to the weights (not mass) and so it is important that the acceleration due to gravity is included in the answer.

What is the resultant velocity of a boat if it travels south across a river at 14 km per hr. It encounters a current flowing from east to west at 9 km per hour?

The resultant velocity of a boat is 17 km/hr and the direction of the boat is SW.

Is it possible for the boat's acceleration to point due south if it travels due north?

Certainly. A boat moving due north with decreasing speed has acceleration in the south direction.

What is the acceleration of a boat with a mass of 150 kg and a total force of 75 N going forward?

F=ma a=F/M a=? F=75 N m=150 kg 75 N/150 Kg= .5 m/s^2 (1 N= 1kg x m/s^2) The acceleration of the boat is .5 m/s^2

What is the force called between the bottom of the boat and water?

the name of the force is upthrst and t is greater than the force that the boat excert to/on /in the water

How does the buoyant force on a boat change if the boat is loaded?

The heavier the boat is loaded, the deeper in the water the boat will float.

How could you keep an objects a acceleration the same if the force acting on the object were doubled?

Mass doesn't change. The relative appearance of that mass from the "stationary" observer does. Thus, a bus traveling at 50Mph weighs 20,000lbs, but at 95% the speed of light it's relative mass would be over 100,000 tons to the stationary observer. However, to the person traveling within or alongside the bus at the same speed, it's mass has not changed."Changing mass" implies that the object acquires new mass as it travels faster, which it cannot. It simply "appears" to change mass.

The force that makes a boat float?

The force that is at work is gravity. If you are thinking of bouyancy, it is not a force.

What is boat drag?

The force which resists the motion of a boat when it goes through the water.

What energy changes take place when you use a boat?

Usually the water force friction takes place of the boat it pushes the gravitational force and the friction force takes place

How can water move the boat?

if the water is moving then it will exert a force on the side of the boat. Still water will not move a boat.
