Self-inflating rafts have a CO2 canister that inflates the raft when it is triggered via manual or pressure release
Filling a balloon with air is called inflating it.
Most materials from which balloons are made are porous, meaning that they have tiny holes in them, somewhat like those in bread. Inflating a balloon actually makes the holes bigger which makes them able to leak more air causing the balloon to leak.

yes but it has to be a bigger balloon and quite dangerous and painful there is a risk of the balloon can catch on the genitalia and cut off circulation also balloons would bring pain to both unless lubricated

inflating a balloon.
Self inflating rafts come with their own compressed air; that's why they are self inflating. If it was not self inflating you would have to pump air into it to inflate it. In either case, rafts can be inflated by any form of gas, it does not have to be oxygen.

Carbon dioxide(gas) is released in this reaction.
Vinegar and baking soda inflate a balloon because the vinegar and baking soda cause a chemical reaction making carbon dioxide, inflating the balloon.
More of an expansion. Like inflating a balloon, but really, really fast.
Self-Inflating balloons use a chemical reaction to generate gas that fills the balloon automatically when a seal is broken. By mixing vinegar and baking soda, a chemical reaction produces carbon dioxide gas, inflating the balloon. This type of balloon is often used for educational purposes or novelty items.
