The sun does burn in a way, but not in the way you are thinking of. Nuclear fusion occurs in the sun which means that the gravitational forces of such a massive body force hydrogen atoms together, to produce helium. Helium is less massive than hydrogen and the lost mass is converted to energy, E=mc^2.
That energy is radiated out in the electromagnetic spectrum which is what reaches us on Earth. The sun is basically a big ball of burning plasma, so it does burn itself but the products of this 'burning' are then burned in turn. Hydrogen to helium to carbon at which out sun is not massive enough to have enough gravitational force to burn so that will cause our sun to die.
u will get sun burn or tan
Infrared waves can burn you by transferring heat energy to your skin. This can happen when you are exposed to high levels of infrared radiation, such as from sources like intense heat lamps or industrial equipment. The heat absorbed by your skin can cause burns similar to those from excessive sun exposure.
because of its too much HEAT LD!
Pour vinegar on the burn. It takes away the heat for awhile.
The sun emits heat and light, which can cause objects to heat up and potentially ignite if the conditions are right. However, the sun does not burn like a fire, as it is a giant nuclear fusion reactor that gives off energy through nuclear processes. So, while the sun can cause things to burn, it doesn't "burn" them in the traditional sense.
They would burn up from the heat.
Beacuse of the heat and all the preature
Wouldn't the heat make them burn.
People have walked on the moon so I think the sun is our next big project. I dont know when people will travel to the sun because it is really far away. The sun is really really hot in the day time, so I think that when they go to the sun they have travel to it at night so they dont burn. Hope this helps! People will never be able to travel to the sun because it is too hot. Any attempt to get near would end in disaster as due to the heat a space craft would burn.
To burn or discolor by the sun; to tan., The burning or discoloration produced on the skin by the heat of the sun; tan.
Right here on earth! What do you think a "sun burn" is?
Yes, the sun can burn Space rocks because of the suns heat.
