A solar eclipse doesn't last long enough to affect the air temperature. The air is heated by the ground below.

However, the temperature we "feel" is a combination of the air temperature and the Sun's light and heat hitting our bodies. Since the Moon blocks the Sun during an eclipse, the Sun isn't hitting US - and we feel a little cooler from the lack of the Sun warming us.
