Yes, the pill is time release. The way Concerta works is that when you take it there is an outer layer which contains about 22% of the drug just to kick it in. Then the concerta releases the drug very slowly over long periods of time. The pill is made up of 4 parts; the outside dose, a plasticy cover, and in that is the actual drug and a sponge type thing. On one of the ends is a small hole and that's where the drug is released. The sponge expands pushing the drug out, very slowly of course. The plastic that surrounds it cannot be broken down by your body, so you really never get the whole drug at once. The plastic part just just passes through the body.

That first time I smoked while on concerta my brain went nuts. I had a ridiculous urge to start learning things, I also Discovered I had a hidden talent for drawing haha my motivation and interest in everyday life increased amazingly But yeah to be honest with you I find that weed makes the concerta work in ways you just have to experience for yourself.
