Figure 1-5. Electrons striking the anode (tungsten target) producing x-ray photons.
Vacuum in the X-ray tube is needed to let the electrons "flow" from cathode to anode.
The x-ray tube target is rotated to reduce wear and tear on the anode and to keep the anode from overheating.
The beryllium is not actually a coating on the window of an x-ray tube, it is the window of the x-ray tube. Beryllium is essentially invisible to x-rays, just like glass is essentially invisible to visible light. Just like we use a glass window to let sunlight in and keep the bugs out of our house, x-ray tubes use beryllium windows to let the x-rays get out of the tube and keep the air out of the tube (x-ray tubes have a vacuum on the inside, just like a light bulb does). For more information, take a look at:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beryllium#Radiation_windows
About 15 degrees, for a typical modern general purpose diagnostic tube.
The X-ray tube is the part of the X-ray machine that emits the X-rays (very high energy photons).
No. We have not made nuclear fusion commercially feasible. X-ray machines used in medical applications generate X-rays by firing electrons at a metal target in a vacuum tube.
X-ray tubes are just a convenient way of producing x-rays. The tube contains a vacuum, which means that the accelerated electrons won't accidentally bump into any other particles and be scattered or slowed down before reaching the target.

I dono?:>
The area that is hit by electrons after they pass across the x-ray tube is called the target. The x-ray tube contains oil to help dissipate heat.
X ray tube i am not sure but maybe
X-ray refused to discuss the gold tube with Stanley because X-ray was afraid the Warden might have been listening.
