How does the weather affect animals physical appearance?

it may not be used to rain if it was in a rainforest and the animal was used to being in a warm hot climate, not wet or rainy. or it may be that in adapting to a enviorment it may be easy or simple or hard and confusing. but we don't know how the animals feel in a different enviorment if that's not the usual enviorment. depending on the animal if it is a young growing on its own such as a snake it could be used to a desert's temp. but if a rattlesnake went into a Tropical rainforest it may have a hard time adapting to the cold or wet climate as a desert get very little rain or cold weather.
