If you reduce wing size the aircraft will take longer distance and will have to attain higher ground speed before lift-off.

Jet aircraft are the most common types of aircraft to make trans-Atlantic flights. Examples: Boeing 747 Boeing 767 Boeing 777 Airbus A330 Airbus A340 Airbus A380 Learjet 45
The top 10 aircraft in terms of handling, and reliability (not including terrorist threat) are; Boeing 737 with CFMI engines, at one crash per 4.8 million flying hours. The other nine aircraft are: Boeing 757; Airbus A320; Boeing 767; Boeing 737NG; Boeing 747; Airbus A330; Airbus A340; and Boeing 777
Generally airbus has engines which go under the wing, where Boeing tend to mount them forward of the wing Airbus aircraft appear to be quite 'stalky' standing on their landing gear, like some sort of wading bird, and the nose is more blunt looking than Boeing aircraft. Depending on the operator, many Airbus aircraft have winglets on the wing tips also. An easy to spot difference are the cockpit windows, and most Airbus aircraft have wingtip "fences" at the end of the wing, while Boeing uses winglets, or sometimes "raked wingtips."
The 757 is considerably larger.
they use the following Boeing 757-200 Boeing 757-300 Boeing 767-200 Boeing 767-300 airbus A320-100 & 200 i think there may be a few more versions of the airbus aircraft they fly but theres most of umm.
well i like Boeing better but airbus has more tecnology on it new aircraft, so its also a good aircraft but Boeing has been around alot longer and knows the airline buisness more and better. but when airbus came out with the a380 Boeing designed the 787 which just came out, so its whatever you chose but Boeing is the best.
Do you mean commercial Aircraft? Aircraft: Boeing & Airbus
British Airways currently have 277 aircraft in their fleet.
AirBus is the largest and most successful airline manufacturer that competes with Boeing aircraft.
Currently they operate: Airbus A380, Airbus A340-500, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A330-200, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-300, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-200 Details taken from the related link.
There are a lot of companies that make jet aircraft. There are two big ones, Airbus and Boeing.
