How does urine or 'pee' form and come out?

The body is primarily fluid, which circulates through the blood to every cell in the body. The digestive tract pulls fluid in to help break down food, then the excess fluid is pulled back out of the large intestines. When the fluid is pulled back, it goes through the kidneys (two, one on each side). A tiny tube called a ureter on each kidney carries the filtered fluid, now called urine (pee), into the urinary bladder. The urine collects in the bladder until a person feels pressure to "go" to the bathroom. Then, the urine flows from the urinary bladder through another tube called the urethra. The urethra in a male is the opening at the end of the penis; in males, this tube also carries pre-ejaculate and sperm during sexual arousal. (Note: Males cannot urinate and ejaculate at the same time.) In females, the urethral opening is directly above and outside of the vagina. (Note: Urine does NOT come out of the vagina, as many girls mistakenly believe. Also, it is possible [from a variety of causes] for females to urinate at the same time while having sex.)
