Best Answer

AnswerIt dissolves the wasps exoskeleton which turns them in to mush. That's why it also kills scorpions and all other bugs with exoskeletons, but it has other chemicals that make it more poisonous and to react with the exoskeleton dissolving chemical to make it work faster

Answer

Most quick-kill sprays contain Tetramethrin and/or Peremethrin. These chemicals are in the Pyrethrin family and function as neurotoxins, affecting neuron membranes by prolonging sodium channel activation.

Wasp killer suffocates the wasp. However if you don't use enough it can simply slow down the wasps breathing rather than kill them.
