well eventually your eye will either turn slightly red and then it might get infected. If not slightly read then you most likely will be fine. If it waters for severaly minutes put eye drops and close your eyes for five minutes. Dirt can cause great damage to sensetive eyes. If pain occurs to the eye after cleansing, call your doctor or go to the hospital immediatly.
to get sand outta ur eye:
1. try not to blink
2. bathe your eye in warm water
3. let you eye rest by laying in a dark room
4. if you don't do this your eye will sting like mad and then if it's serious you may actually go blind
