The electric power industries are affecting global warming in many ways some of them are listed below.

1.They generate electricity using nuclear which have got gases which depletes the ozone layer.

2.Thermal power stations produce smoke containing carbon gases such as carbon dioxide which affects the O3 layer(ozone layer).

The above effects depletes the ozone layer hence allowing the ultra-violet rays of the sun to reach the earth`s surface thus increasing global temperatures(global warming).
