Emperor penguins are very prevalent in Antarctica.
Because Emperor penguins have a layer of blubber (fat) and they also stay very close together in snow storms. They survive with all the thick layers of feathers and fat.
The Antarctic environment is the natural habitat of the Emperor Penguin.
Emperor penguins do not drink water as they obtain all necessary liquid from the prey they consume, such as fish and krill, which contain water. Additionally, they have a special gland near their eyes that filters excess salt from their bloodstream, allowing them to survive on the saltwater they consume while hunting.
The young of emperor penguins are eaten by giant petrels or skuas. In the water emperor penguins are eaten by leopard seals and killer whales.
