They both deal with the environment, but on different but complimentary levels.
Environmental Engineering is based on the design and manipulation of environmental processes to obtain a desired outcome. Environmental engineers apply their knowledge of the natural sciences - chemistry, Biology, and microbiology - with their expertise in engineering to solve, prevent or correct environmental problems. Environmental engineers:
Environmental science is more related to the "environment". They specialize in areas of the environment, such as forestry, soil, water, air and learn the processes that go on within them. Environmental science focuses on:
Between the two, I'd say environmental scientists know more about the environment academically, but the environmental engineers are the ones crafting their understanding and knowledge into usable designs and processes.
I can tell you a few, Biology (the study of life) and ecology (the study of ecosystems). I can tell you a few, Biology (the study of life) and ecology (the study of ecosystems).
when I think of environmental science is that
Mainly; Energy, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Engineering, and Electronic Engineering.

Yes, the phenomena of electricity are studied by the science of physics. The phenomena of electricity are used in the engineering fields of electrical engineering and electronics engineering. One branch of electronics engineering (computer engineering) was used to design the computer you are now using to read this.

The difference is that environmental science is just one of the many branches, or sub-categories of science. Think of science as the tree and one of its major branches is Earth Sciences, and branching from that, environmental science.
Yes, they are all the different types of science. Math is used in all of those.
No because it is not a type of science it is a form of social science
You need a BS in Applied Science and a MS in environmental engineering. This website offers great information about the industry-www.ecojobs.com/environmental-science-and-engineering-jobs.htm
J. Glynn Henry has written: 'Environmental science and engineering' -- subject(s): Environmental engineering, Human ecology, Environmental sciences, Environmental protection
I'm from Alberta, Canada, and have many classmates who are currently finishing up their Environmental Engineering degree after completeing degrees within other programs. I don't see why a University or College would not allow you to take environmental engineering after completing an undergrad in environmental science. Provided your academics is sufficient for acceptance into the program.
The 5 branches of environmental science are:BiologyChemistryEcologyGeologyBotany
In the form that computers are basically science. It probably doesn't make much sense now but in time you develop the point of view in which shows you how they relate.
Earth Science
Environmental education involves 3 disciplines, namely, 1. Environmental Studies 2. Environmental Science and 3. Environmental Engineering. Environmental Science is a discipline concerned with study of processes in air, water, soil and organisms which cause damage to environment.

only environmental studies are not available over there in Mauritius. My younger sister is studying there and she says that chemical engineering is related to environmental engineering. So you can do environmental eng there.
