Isolated in which way??? The US likes its independece and as such it does not follow many currents, it is a selfish county. What exactly is your question?

Not exactly. Light from the sun consists of electromagnetic radiation. We can tell this is so because sunlight has a range of colours emitted, which has wavelengths that are within EM spectrum.

These gasses also (most likely) cause a temperature rise on Earth.
