I found that the Pipe Friendly Tape Measure by tekforce is far more accurate and cuts the hassle.
The pipe out of the wall usually only sticks out a couple of inches. You add what is needed to the sink drain.
I am no expert but, if it's something flammable and it's down far, then that could pose a problem.
As far as I know the NPPA never had 3.4 piping and Steel piping is 2", 2 1/2" 5", 6" ,7" and 8" Although 7" is now very rare
First, be sure to unplug your dryer, extend your dryer out, not too far though..just the length of your vent, unscrew your vent from the back of the dryer, then slowly slide the vent off. It's recommended at this point that you get some kind of vacuum cleaner, and insert it into the dryer hole. Afterwards, use your vacuum inside the vent tube, reattach the vent tube to the vent, push the dryer back to its position, and go about your day.
An X pipe is a modification for a dual exhaust. As far as I know all the V6 Mustangs have a single exhaust... So no.
The purpose of the flex pipe is to give the exhaust some flexibility. On front wheel cars since the motor is mounted crosswise, when you give it gas the motor rocks and would over time break the exhaust pipe or even the exhaust manifold. On rear wheel drive cars, the exhaust pipe can twist which gives the needed flex. As far as components, it is just a woven metal sleeve over a piece of pipe that isn't attached to the ends of the flex tube. The outside woven part allows the exhaust to flex.
Depends on the size of the vent and what city you're performing the work in. Speak with a plumbing inspector for that city and tell him the size vent and he will tell you the maximum length. To determine the size of a vent you have to know developed length of pipe and fittings and the fixture units connected
had the same problem with mine.If you take off the exhaust pipe you will see that inside the pipe at about 2 inch from the top the inner pipe is cracked. If you're lucky and it's not too far down you will be able to get it weld(MIG).Mine was almost a complete circular crack of the inner pipe and not accessible...had to buy new set of exhaust!! Good Luck JM
Because the flue is too far for nature to vent the fumes properly as heat rises but in some installations there is not enough PITCH up from the appliance.
toilet should have a vent with in three feet of down pipe, but as long as you are with in the drop range for hori. pipe run you can go as far as you want, but you need that air vent close as you can so that the suction from the toilet water does not pull the rest of water from toilet base(p trap).

true dual by far
To be honest, I am not sure, BUT, my 1990 Dodge has one oxygen sensor and it is located in the exhaust pipe on the right side (passenger side) of the engine not too far from the manifold. The sensor screws into a hole in the exhaust pipe. (Helpful hint: I squirted the thread part of the sensor with Liquid Wrench every day for a week to loosen up the rust).
A roan pipe is the drain pipe leading down from the gutter, also known as a gutter pipe. As far as I know it is of Scottish origin.
