the o-zone layer which will choke you if you fly too far up
It can. It depends on how far you can get before it gets angry.----A bee would have to be angry to chase you, but you wouldn't be able to outrun it: bees fly at 15mph, and can fly at 25mph for short periods -- faster than you can run.
Please consider this answer a placeholder, as my Blue Swede is only 2 months old.So far, she has gained about 2 feet in altitude, and has flown about 5 feet in distance. So, yes, at least my Blue Swede can fly, but cannot yet fly away.
No. Forager bees leave the hive and fly off in all directions looking for a good supply of nectar (or pollen). When a bee finds a good supply, it loads up with nectar or pollen and returns to the hive. It then does what is known as a 'waggle dance' to tell the other bees in the hive how far and in what direction they will have to fly to get to the source of the nectar or pollen.
they fly on and on on and on on and on on and on on and on on and on on and on on and on! they fly forever!
Not far.
maybee You may be right but as far as I know, there is no separate name for a newborn bee.
Penguins cant fly.
Bees will only sting if they feel threatened. If you keep calm when a bee comes near you are far less likely to be stung. If you keep still when a bee lands on you it will normally just fly away again. If you try to make the bee go away by swatting at it you may well provoke a stinging attack because the bee will see that as threatening. The only other time a bee may sting is if it gets caught in clothing or in your hair. Then it may sting out of panic when it can't get away.
