There is no set limit. It all depends on the amount of light being emitted by the observed object. Looking out in space on a clear new-moon-night the nake eye can see stars that are LIGHT YEARS away. However, on relatively flat ground here on Earth, the nake eye can see for about 8-10 miles until the curvature of the planet makes the land "disappear" from view.

On a clear day, the naked eye can see up to about 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) before objects appear blurry due to the Earth's curvature and atmospheric conditions. However, under ideal conditions, such as at high altitudes or in extremely clear air, the naked eye may be able to see much farther.

There is a wide choice of binoculars according to their vision distance. The most powerful of them provide the ability of clear picture up to 2000-3000 meters. The most important feature which helps users to find this characteristic is power. For example, if the model of Hawke Optics Sapphire ED 8×25 that is sold at Outdoorsbay online store has 8x power, this means that you will watch objects 8 times closer than you will watch them without binocular.

But the power is not the only feature that provides vision quality. There are also such important characteristics as field of view, close focus, objective diameter and eye relief. The choice of the most suitable binocular is connected with the sphere of its usage and the specialties of users' physical conditions (vision). So, if you are not an expert in optical laws, the best way for choosing binoculars is the assistance of specialists. If you visit Outdoorsbay online store, which has been mentioned above, this task will be easily sold.
