The fastest way to get to Osan Air Base from Camp Casey is the train. You will take line 1 at Bosan Station, right outside the gate, and go south. Do not transfer lines. Get off at Songtan Station, once you get there ask a cab driver to take you to the main gate. It will be about 3,000 won for the cab ride, another 3,000 for the train, and about three and a half hours of travel, the trip is worth it though, Osan's "Ville" is huge (Yes, it's way bigger than Casey's) so plan ahead and take some money with you for the souvenirs and if you plan to spend the night (highly recommended). Hope this helps.

How long is the flight from Seattle WA to Osan Korea?

If there were a direct flight, . . . about 12 or 13 hours depending on time of year, as seasonal jet streams can affect flight times. Still, there is no direct commercial flight. At best you would have to route yourself through Incheon, Korea's main international airport. Once you arrive in Incheon, you will need a 2 hour bus ride to Osan, which is just south of Seoul. With a destination such as Osan, I suspect you may be in the military. Osan Air Force Base may have military flights strictly for military personnel, but even those are probably routed through Japan. Good Luck!

What US Army bases are in Korea?

Can't attest that this is a complete list, and I may be mistaken in saying that some of these are still active... a lot has changed in the last ten years since I was there, but, last I knew, these were the posts still active:Camp Red CloudYongsan GarrisonCamp CarrolCamp CastleCamp SearsCamp MobileAdditionally, there are the United Nations installations of Camp Liberty Bonifas and Camp Bonifas (which are adjoined), which house the United Nations Council Security Battalion. The only Army installation which was north of the Imjin River was Camp Greaves (where I was stationed during my time in Korea), which was approximately one mile from the DMZ. It, and several other camps (including Camp Gator, Camp Garry Owen, and several others) were deactivated from 04 - 05 and turned over to the South Korean government.
