When determining the best resort in Punta Cana for a honeymoon I think you need to ask yourself a few questions in order to determine which is the best. You need to think about if you want an all-inclusive resort or a European plan resort. Of course with an all-inclusive resort, all of your food, beverages and non-motorized water sports are included and with a European plan resort, food and drink is not included. You are paying along and along. Also, I think you need to decide if you want adults only or a family/kid friendly resort. Most adult only resorts are 18 and up. With these two points to consider, I would say the the best adults only all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana is the Iberostar Grand. The best all-inclusive family/friendly resort in my opinion would be the Hard Rock. The best for a European plan resort in Punta Cana would be either Eden Rock or Sivory Boutique hotel. Both of these are family/kid friendly, since there are no adults only, European plan resorts in Punta Cana. I hope this guidance helps.
