Pluto is about 5,913 million km from the sun (on average).
Mars is about 228 million km from the sun.
Mars is about 5,685 million km from Pluto.
These distances are variable depending on the planets own orbit.
Pluto is about 5,913 million km from the sun (on average).
Mars is about 228 million km from the sun.
Mars is about 5,685 million km from Pluto (on average).
The variable distance between Mars and Pluto is about three billion miles. Planetary distances vary due to the planets positioning within its own orbit.
Depending on their positions in their orbits, the two planets can be from 4.2 billion to 7.5 billion kilometers apart (2.6 to 4.7 billion miles).
The farthest Mars gets from the Sun is about 249 million kilometers (155 million miles).
The distance of Pluto from the Sun varies from 4.4 to 7.3 billion kilometers, so its orbital position is effectively the major factor in how far it is from Mars or from Earth, and will not change appreciably over dozens of years.
Pluto Mars Jupiter is the correct order
Pluto, I believe.
Pluto was the smallest but is no longer classed as a planet, it is now a dwarf planet, so going by that, Mercury is now the smallest, followed by Mars, so it would be Mars.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and Pluto are not gaseous. Pluto is sometimes not regarded as a planet. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are gaseous, although the latter two may have a solid core of frozen gas.
The symbol for Pluto is: ♇It is a P and L on top of each other, for the first two letters of Pluto, but also for the initials Percival Lowell.
Mars is 36,000,000 miles from Earth and no Mars is the fourth planet from the sun(Mars is right beside us) Sun.......... Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto
Pluto but it's also slightly ruled by Mars.
Pluto is the furthest planet away from the sun, making it the coldest, there are exactly 8 planets before the sun and Pluto: (SUN) Mars Venus Earth Mercury Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto
Mars, it only has two moons, while there are thought to be at least 5 for Pluto.
Pluto is actually smaller than Mars. It is only about a third of its size.
Pluto and Mars are the same in the following ways:They both orbit the sunThey are both ball-shaped
yes
mars
The main reason is that Pluto is much farther away. Mars is close enough that even from an orbit around Earth we can get decent images of it while we can only get vague pictures of Pluto. We have also been able to sent several probes to Mars that have made detailed maps from orbit and have taken samples of its surface and atmosphere. So far we have launched one probe to Pluto, but it hasn't gotten there yet.
Pluto Mars Jupiter is the correct order
Actually, the idea that Pluto had about the same mass as Mars is outdated. It is now known that Pluto has less than 2% the mass of Mars, and therefore has less gravity.
Pluto is not called the red planet. That is Mars.
