Flying, you have to drive to the Tegu airport (1.5 hours, depending on the construction delays), connect in La Ceiba, and then on to Roatan. I haven't figured out how long the wait is and if you have to switch planes. A buddy told me that the plane won't have to connect in La Ceiba if there are no passengers to pick up, but I wouldn't count on that.
