King Tut's mummy is entombed in the Valley of the Kings, a famous Egyptian burial site. The tombs are actually located above ground.
The boy Pharaoh Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. The entrance to the tomb is fifteen stone steps down from the surface.
Somedody answer the question !!
The tomb of King Tutankhamun was the richest tomb ever discovered so far because grave robbers had not found it. It was found intact in 1922, by Howard Carter. Many of the 2,000 artifacts found in the tomb are on display at many museums all over the world.
No. Too far north.
it would very on how far it was from where the slaves were held to Canada.
King Tutankhamun can be found in various exhibits that travel world. The exhibit seems to have moved around a lot from the 1970's til 2009, It began in the British museum, moving over the years to Switzerland, Germany, Russia, France, Canada, Los Angeles, Florida, Chicago, Philadelphia, London, Dallas, and New York. it is currently back in Egypt, though a separate exhibition is still in Atlanta where many items from the tomb can still be seen. (this does not include the famous gold mask however, which is too fragile to ever travel again) Tutankhamun's body is in his tomb in the valley of the Kings, in his tomb. His death mask, sarcophagus, etc are all in Cairo museum. Only minor items are allowed to travel.
King Tut's tomb was full of riches, treasures, and things to help and guide him in the examples are jewellery, furniture (including his bed!), food and 4 packs of his favourite game Senet. When Howard Carter found the tomb he looked through the only hole so far and said "I see wonderful things, wonderful things!" and he was right.

As far as we know, only Cleopatra was put in her coffin. Since her tomb has not been found, we have no idea of what was buried with her.As far as we know, only Cleopatra was put in her coffin. burial mask of King Tutankhamen created:1322 B.C found:1922 in the valley of the kings current location: Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Egypt. Tut's tomb is the only ancient Egyptian tomb ever discovered technically intact. The tomb was invaded by robbers, probably within a few hundred years of Tut's burial, and then it was re-sealed by priests. Fortunately it was not found again until discovered by Carter in 1922. Since it was established beyond doubt that the tomb was sealed by priests of the necropolis (the city of the dead) it is considered intact, even though it had been violated in ancient times. The outer entry to the tomb was intact when Carter discovered it, just as the ancient repairers left it. And it was sealed with the seal of the necropolis priesthood. The sarcophagus and its surrounding gold-leafed shrines were completely untouched when opened by Carter and his team; the robbers did not make it that far into the tomb. One wonders if the robbers suffered the misfortune of being caught in the act. They would certainly have known that the sarcophagus would be the greatest prize. The gold mask was still in its intended resting place on the king's mummy within the nest of coffins, one of which is of solid gold.
They were Half a mile underground

No. Too far north.
A king can jump as far as needed to legally capture pieces.
The pyramid itself is not underground but one of its three burial chambers is underground and carved into the bedrock.
Lava, groundwater, sometimes minerals that have been melted and which flow into crevices. Depends on where and how far underground.
About the same as it is above ground.
