The average guinea pig e.g. domesticated, labatory, run speeds of about 19.5 mph for long periods of time. Wild guinea pigs can run up to 49 mph top speed, however such sprints only last 8-15 seconds.
You can interact with your guinea pig by petting, playing, and talking to them. Providing toys and tunnels for exercise and mental stimulation can also be enjoyable for them. Additionally, offering a variety of fresh vegetables and hay for them to munch on can keep them happy and healthy.
You can't take Guinea Pig's for a walk with leads or anything like that as they are very bad for a Guinea Pig's spine. You are best to either let them go in a run outside or let them out in your house. You are best letting it run in your house, but keep it away from wires and spaces it can hide in. You shouldn't use a guinea pig harness or lead as they can damage their sensitive spines.
I don't think there is such thing.....also please adopt guinea pigs from shelters and not buy from shops!
guinea pigs like to get out and play especially with each other. if your goiong to let your pigs run around together i would recommend a plastic childrens pool, because then you know were they are and its EASY to clean! ;o) yes i think they do i let me guinea pig run around the house it is so funny
If i were you i would get a big cage so the guinea pig can run around Good luck with your piggie I have a big cage that holds 2 guinea pigs and they chase each other around the whole cage!!!
A cat.
MAke a maze out of cardboard and have your guinea pig run through it.
You don't make them run, nor should you force them to do anything that is not it the guinea pig care guide.
It can run the say it is born
You can by him/her a run so it can run about or by a guinea pig lead though that is quite cruel/dangerous or a play tube.
Guinea pigs walk like regular four legged animals but they sort of do a hoppish-run when they want to go faster.
it depends on the guinea pig, if the guinea pig doesn't trust you very much the guinea pig might run away. But if you have had it for a long time and it trusts you it just might walk around or just go near you ps...if this is your first time with the guinea pig just have all dangerous things or things you dont want to be bitten away and also have all doors closed in case it does run away.
Omg yes cause they are cute and cuddly and a 8 year old could take care of it. If you really want to get into it you can breed your guinea pig and little babies will come out they are soooooooo cute!!!!!!!
One should allow about 7.5 square feet for a guinea pig to be able to run around freely. If a cage is bigger than that, it's all the better for the guinea pig as it will then have more room to run around.
Yes, the cats long legs, provide them superior running ability to that of a guinea pig.
four weeks
