Growth is not something that has been implemented into the game. From the time a dog or cat is weaned, it is the same exact size, color, form, and posture as any of the other dogs or cats of that breed.

Foopets age just like you and me. They age in real time. If you adopt (buy) a pet at 8 weeks old, then it will be another 10 months (real time) before that pet turns 1 year old.

You can choose to unnaturally accelerate the age of your pet. You do this by clicking on "learn more" next to their picture on your profile page. It costs 20 FooDollars to do this. Please make sure this is something you want to do for sure...before you do it. Once you force-age a Foo...you cannot change your mind.
