The Currituck Beach Lighthouse has a beam of 1,000 watts. I hope I helped. ~Maddy ☺
Pulsars rotate like most stars. Pulsars also emit beams of energy which, if they cross our path are perceived as pulses of energy with a regular rate (ticks, beeps, etc). This is called the lighthouse effect. Picture a lighthouse -- the lighthouse itself is the pulsar, and the beam of light is like the pulsar's beam.
The word steadily is the adverb, as it describes the manner in which the lighthouse performed its action, which was to beam the light.
1025 watts
the beam wil keep going
The game was designed to have you go to the lighthouse before going to the prison. You have to climb the steps, a few at a time then ducking to avoid the strong wind. In the keeper's room, put the thermometer on the wall -- it will alert you when to come back to the lighthouse a second time. Use the lighthouse beam to see the prison. Go there and then back to the beach at the Inn. You will be summoned back to the lighthouse. Follow the ghost upstairs (easy now) and hear his story. Use the beam of the light to see the wreckage in the bay to the north (above), then leave in the boat and travel there.
There are two lighthouses on Rottnest Island: Wadjemup lighthouse and Bathurst lighthouse. The original lighthouse on the Wadjemup site was the first lighthouse in Western Australia, whilst the lighthouse that is currently on the site is Australia's first ever rotating beam lighthouse.
You can go to the prison and lighthouse in any order, but the game is set up for you to go to the lighthouse first, climb the windy stairs, and leave the thermometer. Then when you complete the prison, and travel back to the beach, you get called back to the lighthouse and see the Keeper. Once you see him, travel to the rocks and recover the locket from the wreck, then go back to see Fiona at the old house.Note that you have to complete both the prison and the lighthouse to succeed.
