Gravity exerts the same force on all objects. Barring air resistance, all objects fall to the ground at the same speed. (If you dropped a marble and a Bowling ball simultaneously from the Empire State Building, they will hit the ground at the same time)

As Newtons third law states, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Therefore the mass being attracted toward a more massive object exerts a smaller pull on the more massive object. Therefore the pull of the smaller object will double in strength.

How would the force of gravity between two objects change if the mass if each object were doubled?

The Gravity would Double.

When the mass of one object increases by a factor of 2 the force of gravity increase by a factor of?

As force of gravity is directly proportional to the mass as mass is doubled then force on it also gets doubled.

Does mass vary according to the force of gravity?

No, mass does not vary according to the force of gravity. Mass is a measure of how much matter an object has. Weight, however, is a measure of the force of gravity acting on an object; as such, weight varies according to gravitational field strength.

When the only force affecting an object is gravity that object is?

When the only force on an object is the force of gravity,we say that the object is in "free fall".

When the force applied an object is doubled how does the pressure exerted on the object changes?

When the force is doubled the pressure is doubled as well. Read Newton's law.

What would happen if you doubled the force acting on a moving object?

If you doubled the force on a moving object you would double its acceleration.

What happens to your weight if acceleration due to gravity somehow doubled?

IF gravity doubled, THEN your weight would double. And acceleration and the force of gravity are indistinguishable from each other.

What is the amount of force of gravity pulling down on an object?

mass of object *force of gravity

Is mass or weight the measure of the force of gravity acting on an object?

The force of gravity on an object is called its weight.Note that mass is what CAUSES this force of gravity.

Measure of force of gravity acting in an object?

weight, The weight of an object is the force of gravity acting on it.

The weight of an object is the force of?

The weight of an object is the force of gravity.
