Because Google pays Firefox for the traffic and user data. You can turn these misfeatures off in about:config or by using Firefox version 2 or earlier.
Firefox Beta is a beta (second) release of the new version. Firefox Aurora is an alpha (first) release of the new version. A Firefox Nightly release is whatever was checked in up to last night. As of September 2, 2011 there are four active versions of Firefox: Firefox 6 - The most stable version of Firefox. It is safe for millions of users. and is qualified by the QA. Firefox 7 (Beta) - An upcoming look at the newer Firefox is is pretty stable and safe. It is not recommended for everyone. It can be downloaded by anyone though and is mostly for Beta testers¤users. Tested by the QA but not recommended. Aurora (Firefox 8) - An even less stable version of Firefox. It is not even called Firefox it is called Aurora. I am currently using Aurora version 2 right now. I do not see a difference (so far...I downloaded it only 30 minutes ago). It is not recommended for most people so if you are a regular person I would not recommend downloading this. Accepted by the QA but Highly NOT recommended. Nightly (Firefox 9) - This is the least stable version of Firefox out there. I personally would not recommend this unless you are a programmer or know what you are doing. I haven't downloaded the Nightly version (yet), so I don't know what the difference is, but I do know that is is NOT ACCEPTED by the QA so you risk yourself by downloading it. If you have more questions just go to the Mozilla website and ask questions on that.
Incompatibility, until Gmail or Firefox find the offending code. LOL
1. Open Control Panel 2. Open "Clock, Language and Region" 3. Then open "Change country or region" Note: this is for Vista. For XP and anything lower, the links should be somewhat similar.
You have to download it of course. Search google Download Firefox 2(3 if you have a good computer) and go there and download it!
There is currently no version of Firefox for any iOS devices including the iPad, however Mozilla and the Firefox development team are currently developing a browsing app currently called "Junior" that is set to be released either in 2012 or 2013.

Follow below steps to remove black screen on firefox: 1. Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox. 2. Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop. 3. Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software. Note : Do not remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions. 4. Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer. It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling. 5. Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox. 6. If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

First, install Firefox. Better Gmail 2 only works with Fx, although some of the scripts have been written to work with Internet Explorer (like Folders4Gmail - http://arend-von-reinersdorff.com/folders4gmail/ ). Then go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6076 and install BG2. Restart Firefox when prompted. In Firefox, go to Menu/Tools/Add-ons and scroll to Better Gmail 2. Click Options and select the features you want to enable. If you need help, click the Help tab, then the blue link for the particular script you're working with.
In the world of modern web browsers, it's hard to say which one is the best. Everyone has their favourites. The most popular web browser is probably Microsoft's Internet Explorer, closely followed by Google Chrome.Internet Explorer is a very old browser, which is now on version 9.0, compared to Google Chrome, which is younger but is still progressed to version 15!There are a lot of other browsers available, including Firefox and Opera along with many others, all good browsers.
Go to your address bar and type "about:config" without the quotation marks. In the search bar that appears, type "backspace". Then change the value of "browser.backspace_action" from "0" to "2".
