I am a serious backpacker who has explored many different tents before settling on this one. I am truly shocked at the high quality of this tent for the affordable price I got it for. Not because of its weight, look, or comfort, but because it has been truly field tested over the countless trips I've gone on. I've been sleeping in some harsh conditions (hard wind and rain) and it has kept me warm and dry over and over again. Swiss gear is the best kept secret for any outdoor enthusiast. I highly recommend.

Swiss Gear doesn't actually make their luggage. They contract it out to different manufacturers to make it for them on their behalf (most brands do this actually). I've had a couple Swiss products (other than their amazing pocket knife) and the quality differs by a lot depending on where, when, and what you got. If you like Swiss and want quality, might I suggest Victorinox luggage?
