Try to study for the SAT exam by taking up to 8 practice test, correcting each one before taking the next, and learning from your mistakes. f you scored 550 and 570 on the math and reading sections, you can bring those scores up so that both are in the 600's. For the more competitive colleges you want to have scores in the 600's and for the most competitive colleges, you are looking for scores in the 700's.
Your scores aren't bad - some kids don't score in the 500's on each section. I think of the 500's as C's, 600's as B's and 700's as A's.

∙ 8y agoIf it is out of 2400, then you may want to try to improve your score. A 1410 would be at around the 40th percentile, which would be below average.

If you are talking about credit score, understand that I am not a credit expert, but since a credit score of 620 is bad, 215 would be a terrible credit score. If this is for a test like the SAT, this is also horrible. The average score of the SAT is about 500, and even that isn't that good of a score.
