Embeda is extended-release morphine (with sequestered naltrexone) and roxicodone is immediate-release oxycodone. Morphine and oxycodone provide similar pain relief if the dose is properly adjusted.
Work closely with your pain doctor to adjust the dose and Embeda should work just a well or better than multiple doses of roxicodone.
No notice relating to Roxicodone products has been listed on the FDA website during the period from 2008 through this date.
Embeda is an extended-release formulation of morphine (with a sequestered core of naltrexone). All pharmaceutical products stay in your system for 5 times the time it takes to reduce the amount of drug in your body by half. For Embeda this is 29 hours -so it will take 5-6 days for all of the morphine to be out of your system.
I have severe neck herniations and am awaiting surgery. In the meantime, therapy and painkillers are the only things that help me. I have been prescribed at least 10 different painkillers in the last two years. With that being said, roxicodone has been my favorite so far. For me, it is the most long-lasting drug- both effect and pain wise. Percocet and vicodin rarely helped me without a soma, and the effects along with the pain control lasted only about 30 min to an hour at best. On the other hand, roxicodone lasted me a good 4-8 hours- which is what most professionals say it should last, depending on your metabolism. Remember, roxicodone is very addictive, but only if taken improperly. If taken appropriately, it is no more addictive then any other narcotic. So be smart, and be safe!
I have been trying to figure this out too and there isn't much information on the web. I have a theory how ever; smoking anything is not good for you. Just like a cigarette, a roxicodone will harm your longs. The question really is how the chemicals comply to the smoke. I'm no chemist, but, if cigarettes are bad for you and even worse cause of the chemicals in them, I would figure, roxicodone would have similar features. In Smoking roxicodone can cause death in any form of abuse. Opiates can cause death or overdose when take in large enough amounts. Smoking them will harm your lungs. However, what other harm the chemical reaction may cause from burning foil and the pill is still my question.
To me, "seeing someone" means that you are dating. When you've "been with someone", to me that means you've had a sexual relation with them. Hope this helps.
