In terms of academic excellence, I personally have not heard anything about this school whether it be positive or negative. However, there are a number of issues that concern me, and should concern you. First, it is a "for-profit" institution (meaning it is a business mentality). This in itself does not concern me, but when you couple that with the fact that the ITT Technical Institute (ITT) does not have a regional accreditation; red flags start to raise. ITT is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Thus, unless the institution has special articulations with other colleges and universities; their credits will not be accepted in transfer should you decide to at a later date. In addition, not having a regional accreditation may also promote some problems when attempting to secure a position within the work force where a degree is required. Lastly, ITT was under a Federal investigation in 2004. The grand jury subpoenas facilitated searches in a number of areas to include procedures in admissions and recruitment, salaries, retention, transfer credit, etc. The recommendation would be to stay with regionally accredited colleges and universities. Great College!!
A 4.5 GPA is good enough to graduate and go to an IVY graduate school.
Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana was created in 1963.
2009
Lincoln Tech is a really good auto tech school. See if they have one in your area, they do have one here in Philadelphia PA.
Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana's motto is 'Changing Lives, Making Indiana Great [http://www.ivytech.edu]'.
yes, it is a good school. it is not IVY league though (like Dartmouth or Hardvard or Yale)
ITT Tech is a good school for many different specialties. One of these specialties is engineers. However, engineering is a specialized degree and it is recommended that a student search out a school that specializes in this area.
Ivy League should always be capitalized (not school, however). An example would be: "Harvard is an Ivy League school."
I have wanted to go to an utrasound tech shool and I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a good utrasound tech school that is located in the area that I could possibly sign up for?
No, UCLA is not an Ivy League school.
I'm not 100 percent sure but I don't think u have to there are people in my school who go to tech and they aren't smart at all
