recycling is good for the environment because, all the stuff you recycle, is made into new stuff, like cars, rulers, packaging, where as putting items like metal cans, plastic, paper in normal bins, just gets thrown away as normal trash, and not made into anything else, so recycling helps the environment because it makes new things for the world
