Not hard at all
Remove drive shafts
Remove vent tube
Remove connector
Slide transmission jack under transfer case
Remove mount bolts and your done
The transfer case is bolted to the back of the transmission on a 4 x 4 capable Ford Expedition
On the rear of the transfer case, near the output.
The electric shift motor is located on the rear of the transfer case. Attached by 4 bolts and a wiring harness.
On a two wheel drive model the sensor is located on the top of the transmission. On four wheel drives the sensor is on the transfer case.
