It really depends on where your looking.
If you look in the right place and have the right equiptment it wouldnt be that hard the hard part is finding the right place/equiptment.
There is a place called Sovereign Hill about two hours away from where I live, its an old mining place and i suppose if you looked around there in the right place you could have some luck but then again all the gold has probobly been found by now.
