Not hard at all once you drop the fuel tank and drag it out from under the van.
yes but very hard and lots of frustration
Noisey pump, hard starting, stalling. Replace the fuel filter and have a fuel pressure test run.
You have to drop the fuel tank and the pump is on the top. It is not that hard to do. We just did one in a 1999.
This is a very hard job without the proper equipment. Not recommended for the novice. It will also depend which bearings you are asking about, front or back. Both equally hard to do.
It is below the alternator and kind of hard to see.
Wasnt there a recall on this part? You might want to check that out. Could get it for free.
Replace the fuel filter and if it still acts up have the fuel pressure tested. It should have 41 to 47 psi.
Hard to start, poor performance, and poor fuel mileage. Just replace the filter is you even suspect is is clogged.
Evidently pretty hard. My mechanic took 4 hours but he is the slowest most depressing man to watch work....
It is not that hard to replace a fuel pump in the 1970 Ford Torino.
The fuel pump is in the top of the fuel tank therefore you must remove the fuel tank, not hard to do, fuel pump alone will run you about $100.00, with all accessories close to $200.00, I've changed a few and never had to replace the whole thing, just the pump.
how is it to replace fuel pump on 2000 Chevrolet truck
