Anastasia was one of , if not THE Cause celebres ( Celebrated Causes- or Famous causes) of the Twenties- on a par with the much later Electra Project. By the way both Ladies were about the same height- five foot nine, had red hair and blue eyes ( yeah) and there are some other common centers. Anastasia was indeed the rallying cause of the White Russian movement in the United States, and had much public interest- with the man in the street- and was , of course controversial.
