I think that the health of the United States has been through its ups and downs. Since the 1900s the rates obsity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and Diabetes have sky-rocketed. It was common for American citizens to jump onto the current diet bang-wagon but very rarely took matters into their own hands and analyized what they were eating. Now-a-days, obestiy rates have remained constant and society has become more aware of what they are consuming in their diet.
Advancements in medicine, public health initiatives, improved sanitation, access to clean water, and better living conditions have all contributed to longer life expectancy today compared to the 1900s. Additionally, advancements in technology, research, and healthcare have led to better treatments for various diseases and conditions, allowing people to live longer and healthier lives.
