∙ 14y agoScience is knowledge. In many ways, the success of the human race depends on scientific knowledge. In more ways than you think, science solves not just global but everyday problems as well. When simply using the restroom, we are getting rid of toxins that could cause us harm, and even deadly diseases. When we want to go somewhere we know of, we go there with brain controlling movement, and it usually takes us longer with a new place, because once we become familiar og going somewhere, the directions we go are programmed into our brain, pretty much like a set of body movement directions. Right now, we are using science to try to stop global warming. So, in conclusion, scientific knowledge is something very good. It becomes bad, when placed in the wrong hands. So use what science was made for.

Science has not done more harm than good. If it were not for science we would still be fighting with wooden sticks, be using leaches to cure diseases, and would be drilling holes in people's heads when we thought they were possessed by the devil when in fact they only had a fever.

Science is just a tool used to explore the world. Any good or harm is produced solely by the way that people use the knowledge that science allows us to find. Note that without science, the maximum population of planet Earth is a few million people - but is that a good or bad thing?

No, they should not. You are looking only at the negative aspects, as if religion were only that. While religion has, indeed, done harm, it is not just that; religion has also done a lot of good all over the world.
