Well, isn't that just a happy little question! You see, as continents drift and move around the Earth, they can change the way heat and moisture are distributed across the planet. This movement can affect ocean currents, wind patterns, and even the amount of sunlight reaching different regions, all of which can lead to changes in climate over time. Just like painting a beautiful landscape, the Earth is always evolving and changing in its own unique way.

The continents are currently in their present shapes due to the movement of tectonic plates over millions of years. Take North America for instance. It was basically closer to the Equator then ever! Now it's drifted Northern and climates got colder.
