AT&T Mission and Vision Statement:"We aspire to be the most admired and valuable company in the world. Our goal is to enrich our customers' personal lives and to make their businesses more successful by bringing to market exciting and useful communications services, building shareowner value in the process."
By joining the united States Army Special Forces, individuals are making the commitment to advancing their careers as well as being a part of one of the military’s most elite groups of men. The Special Forces are daily tasked with taking on the Army’s most sensitive missions, requiring the participants to be in their peak physical and mental conditions. The Special Forces Communications Sergeant is responsible for knowing how to operate every single kind of communications equipment, from encrypted satellite systems to Morse code. These men train in helping with the communications portion of area study, setting up and using operational and tactical communications equipment, and teaching other soldiers the operation and installation of a wide variety of communications equipment. Becoming a Special Forces Communications Sergeant is far from easy. The training comprises of 60 weeks of intense field-based and classroom education. Topics covered include physical conditioning, working in areas such as endurance running, parachuting, swimming, and diving—more often than not, candidates are usually already experts in this area. Individuals are also trained in bomb and mine disposal, the handling and use of explosives, and the implementation of land warfare and communication devices. To even participate in the training, candidates must excel in every aspect of their lives. They need to have a willingness to face danger and an acceptance of challenging and deadly missions. Furthermore, these men should exhibit the ability to remain calm under conditions of extreme duress, and show a strong interest in communications and medicine. After serving in the Army, former Special Forces Communications Sergeants can pursue rewarding careers in the civilian world. Their experience with communications equipment and combat training makes them perfect for positions in the law enforcement field. Furthermore, their leadership abilities tailor them exquisitely for management positions within the corporate world. For gentlemen who want to give themselves extraordinary career prospects while becoming part of an elite force that serves their country in tasking missions around the world, working as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant is a fantastic way to make all of these happen while gaining indispensable skills that cannot be learned anywhere else.
