Much of the design is given by the fit to a human rider and some very basic material properties, so any big changes are actually unlikely. We might get more electric assist bikes, maybe more folding bikes for easier storage, race bikes can keep getting lighter and sleeker. Commuter bikes might get some sort of improved locks and theft protection. Maybe some short travel suspension for utility/commuter bikes. Perhaps automatic gears or continuously variable gears. Improve tires so that they don't go flat but still have the low rolling resistance, vibration damping, and other characteristics of modern bicycle tires.
